its funny how a human's heart is uncomprehendable sometimes.
its funny how people put on a facade to blend into this society.
its funny how humans relations & emotions can be so complicated.
what i yearn for, is just peace & happiness & sharing & understanding.
isit that difficult to achieve just like climbing Mt Everest?
but didnt humans conquer that just the same & even got onto Moon.
seriously, how hard can this be???
what pleasure is there in disturbing others lives for selfish reasons.
do they really deserve it??? & what if you were the victim???
this blend week was peppered with some qns that i really want the answers to.
but somehow, i guess no one can do so or else we will definitely have world peace.
& years after years of Ms Universe will not have world peace in their wishlist.
placing all these unhappiness aside, deep down i know this is the minority.
though this minority will just blow things up out of proportion...

it really brightens my day when friends just ring me up randomly,
just simply asking how your week were & showing concern.
somehow, small gestures are enough to touch people's heart.
its the sincerity that counts in relations after all.
for me today, i was click into baking mood.. & the results was quite a sucess.
vj peeps are up for some good old rock buns! :D
speaking of which, our class are starting to heat up quite alot.
i mean our relations are getting better, & everbody arent stuck in their own clique.
its quite a mixture now, glad to say. :D
but our class does work on spontaneity where planned plans are always in ruined. hahas!
our supposingly class gathering yst after my phys tuition in the morning...
ended up to be a girls outing & a guys outing instead. hahas!
we girls together with jul's cute little sis caught UP.
while the guys caught GI Joe. hahas! talking about the differences of sexes!
anw it was quite a touching little story with awesome bg music!
somehow, i dont really regret catching it in the end though its not always my cinema genre.
i'm sad that jul's sis claim that i was 30!
its just probably coz i was standing beside jiayun, whom she claims is 20!
omg! i'm not that old okay! :(
anws, after mark & jy left, the rest of us hit ion.
wow, it was quite impressive but something attracted us more...
the 1 for 1 swensens' ice cream buffet! :D!
yummy. thought the ice cream wasnt really that high of a quality.
but its the company you are with that counts too! :D
headed straight back home after that though, since i overshot my expected time of return!
after waking up at 12.30pm! & baking rock buns for the next half of the day today...
i finally can settle my butt down & do some serious physics!
okay... i'm really lking forward to meet sam & gang this monday!
so i shall start studying to improve my already late improved results! :D

end up he gt 3 days mc & we gt 2 more additional breaks.

it definitely was a fruitful & satisfying week, i would say. making up for my lost time for pleasures this june hols (although i confessed i had a tinge of pleasures from watching those dramas! opps! ^^). from catching snyo concert on monday (though meeting some person which i dread,not once, but twice ==, & brig, i'm not antisocial! he started it first!!), finally seeing how tedson lks like after the years of only hearing his name, and managed to catch a glimpse of the grown up and well know melissa 2 yrs back. went shopping for presents that day, & somehow, i hope that guy will wake up from his misery and see that he should look around and find that he has a grp of close friends, that had to wrecked their poor brains so as to gt his present! somehow the 4 girls had really great chemistry to source for present that day and we ended up at pasta mania munching n gossiping (ohyea. alot of unseen & unheard secrets being revealed!), ending off with dinner with the guys at new york new york before the concert! yummy chocolate fondue i must say. the concert wasnt that brilliant, but oh wells, we had a good seat & its free. and oh yes! i found a super cool & nice cello necklace but i had no heart to part with my 30 bucks! oh craps! i feel regret now! :(!

anw, as tuesday passed with so many teachers picking me on that day (from LC as i doze off in GP [can't blame me when i'm sitting at the back!] to the geog teachers from Josef Tan to Mr Najib in lectures...),

wednesday was like my official rest day. went to the doc to only realise that i hadnt been to her for almost 7 years (oh wow!) & being diagnosed with ear infection. those antibiotics are really making me super slpy! and the drops are really a hassle! and having to wash hair so troublesome-ly. oh craps! sam, i understand how you feel! but not heeding the doc's advice of returning to rest, i headed off to meet the fellow laughtet & chia for kbox from the vouchers that jed gt from his musicfest! it was totally awesome and kickbutt (from english songs to chinese songs, from super high songs to sad songs, from bitchy songs to emo songs, from new songs to the oldies). though at first i felt weird with the gauze in my ear, but after getting over it, i enjoyed myself quite thoroughly! :D! & we vowed to return to conquer again! hahas! you should join us too! ^^ its the fun you will have, no matter how you go out of tune (heys! nobody is perfect isnt that so!?) & just singing you lungs out and enjoying yourself!

thursday was, hmms, the day where hard work bears fruits. the day where phys and maths came back and i scraped through and probably i break the continuity of having to see the black verge or vp for the past exams! i know, i'm proud of myself too! hahas! but i couldnt do it without the support of my close friends too, always encouraging me on! we finished off the day with suki sushi buffet at cineleisure with the 8 sexy babe (i know cheryl's soul was with us, though not phsycially), polishing dish after dish. it was oishii man! hahas! and definitely it came along with alot of accidecnts of toppling sauces. hahas! the highlight was bird gotten a scare from the waitress coz we were sharing spooky stories! amusing! finally a small shopping at hereen (buying CHEAP hair bands!) hahas!

friday, nth fantastic, only that i did physics the whole day. from lecture to tutorial to tuition. and jiayun & my intuition was so sharp that we knew it before hand that big ong hadnt gotten my ipod touch. more waiting but probably a short one coz he ordered it online! whats a few days consider he made me wait for it for 1/2 a yr. hahas!

hmms, saturday came fast with a mini reunion for vjse cellists! we met lao shi at plaza sing by coincidence. went to eat at ajisen ramen n the s51 cellists caught harry potter. my bad! i think it was the most boring harry potter movie so far that i actually slp part of it. hahas! now i gt what u mean ken! nvm, i dont think new moon will be a dissapointment, hopefully! and now! i'm stuck in city hall. i dont mean the mrt station but the korean drama! its awesome! but somehow, after watching on air, it totally changed my view on dramas. hmms! but anw, city hall is awesomely funny! :D! to mark the endof this week, i promise to mug my butt off for the upcoming prelims! ^^V. wish me luck people! & oh yeah, who can be as lucky as us to have a half day off on friday coz LIVERPOOL is coming to our school! :P! jealous?? oh, too bad! and yea, we have a FULL DAY on next monday too! yipees! ^^V

my life is in a mess. somehow the caffine is working from redbull.

& i still agree that My Girl is one of the best korean drama ever! :)
made me cry so much. at least it was a release of stress!

So as a precautionary measure, doctors said it may be practical to keep schools closed for at least another week.
Dr Lee Yik Voon, family physician, said: "This may be based on what is experienced by other countries when the students come back from school holidays...you have a very high infection rate, like Japan, like Australia.
"For flu to spread, it requires close proximity. School is a place where kids get together. If you can prevent that for two weeks, I think you can break the chain of infection."

these are my recent catch. its pethetic to amelia's 1k shopping, i know! :( sad. its super no life!
but my new hp rawks! i feel so noob when i actually use wifi on my hp for the first time! hahas! & my elmo is SUPER cute! love it! & it has alot of ample place for my barang! hahas! & of course, the super cheap faceshop nail polishes. hahas! went back for econs make up today. after 2/3 of the lesson, i died. ==. than went cafe cartel for clique lunch! :) we shouldnt hire china ppl who doesnt know basic stuff in a tourist saturated place like plaza sing puh-lese. the service was bad! than headed to walk walk, sat at bk to mug abit, than shop again! :) BUT its bad walking with 2 thick books plus 2 thick files. DIED. went for phys tuition after that. it was quite a "high" session, with therese drinking her starbucks. hahas! :P! i still crave for my cheesecake! :( anws, yst did mugging session with sam! quite effective for me apparently. hahas! but sam finished her work too! & i'm like mugging with xl tmr! :)! i found out i need a study patner for me to study effectively! & i hope my 2 weeks of re-reading notes which goes out of my brain after that will kickstart the "sharpness" of my concentration & the "agility" of my mind, just as big ong said! i shall go & zzz now! its such an exhausting day! but fulfilling indeed. finally, gt my sony w705! :) *beams*! changed it to shiny silver, had been seeing red for 2 years, and its now time for a CHANGE! 2 more hours till it is fully charged! :D. anw, went to brig blog just now, and yea, one of the thing i miss this summer hols, slpover at my place with dear brig! awws. missed her! :)! hahas! & i just realised that my uncle's close friend is acting in the channel 8, 9pm blockbuster series. that guy who got jailed for drink driving! hahas! that benjamin guy. whatever. i'm so not hooked to that show. what so nice except for the ahge&ahjie acting in it. so many politics. see already so tiring! hahas! its time that spore drmam serials have a revolution man! anws, OMG. i cant believe i'm stuck in almost all the qns for tjc phys mcq. this spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E! i've been slacking these 2 days. i know, GUILT. i tried doing maths today, but my brain wasnt in tune with it. i swear i will do it after maths tuition! :)! and yst, i was totally shacked after a week of continuons tuition. ==. cant believe how many movies i watched just these 2 days, okay, not much. i caught night at the musem 2. hmms. not as gd as the first one though. awws. but still. okay la. than i caught huo yuan jia which my dad recorded. it was quite awesome, surprisingly, for me, who doesnt really watch kung fu shows. i cried. craps. and i was persuaded to watch ip man, which i did. quality wise, the kungfu moves are really much better and everything. somehow it didnt touched me as much. probably coz i was watching boys over flowers at the same time. hahas! & speaking of which. its really weird! for all the meteor garden, be it taiwan, jap or korean version, the first time i watch the show, i will totally support hanazawa rui. but somehow i dont why, when i watch the second time, i totally fell for domyouji! hahas! weird! and it happened again for boys over flowers! omg! but anw, i will still like my kim bum! :) & my first motivation for a's. NEW MOON, TWILIGHT SAGA. WAIT FOR ME! :D

i have officially seen Mrs Cheong for 6 consecutive days. How cool is this? which means i was outta house for 6 days! everybody is acting weird recently. isit the stress from ct2 or just me? CHEER UP EVERYONE! :) anws, omg! i'm so darn freaking excited coz simply big ong wants to bring us to TAIWAN & HK next yr! :D HOW COOL IS THAT? hahas! and i just realised that i'm easily duped. when jed continue gossiping about how "his cousin from korea is dating kimbum" & i totally fell for it? OKAY! WATCH OUT JED! rawr! & Mrs Cheong's lessons are quite fun, from bitching abt ACS ppl to how to smuggle things in to Spore. and big ong just smuggled 2 dont-know-what rabbits in from meleka? like WTH! hahas! okay? i should go back to big ong's work if nt i will just be prepared to be slaughtered as he continue saying " YOU HAVE 9+2 WEEKS TO PRELIMS!" its better to be in hot soup? is that true?

okay, for the benefit of ken, who said that he was straining his eyes reading my blog, i shall put my fonts as large. hahas! omg! i'm like in the middle of doing his gp prelim papers and i'm like dying now! ==. still left with summary and aq. so i decided to take a break. :) i'm like super dead! i had like 5 hours straight of tuition! :( ! and sammi (my tutor's dog) leaked my feet. omg! darn ticklish! she has fetish to leak feet man! my goodess. and she was darn super high today! hahas! dogs are just so cute! :)! hahas! somehow i gt bird hooked to the jap drama too! opps! oh yea! and i was like watching nodame cantabile special episode yst! OMG! they played prince igor, serenade and new world symphony!! hahas! their serenade was OMG-so-good! :D and i'm like watching boys over flowers now while doing my gp! hahas! OMG! craps! i need to study! :(! my only motivation, THE LONG BREAK AFTER A'S! okay okay. i shall go complete my gp and zzz early. since its like i gt maths and gp tuition tmr! :(! hais! i'm super touched today! thanks girls for running with me today! really sweet of you guys! thanks so much! :) but oh craps. my leg muscles hurts! anws. this is a super short post. i shall go mug econs soon! and kamfung msg was really random but sweet too, concern abt my studies. i got a shock seeing the msg, but it was sweet of you! thanks! and my dad is weird. he was like what you want to eat for lunch, i say anything, than he say go buy macs, than i was like okay, than he was like dont always eat macs okay? ==. parents? ==! okay. i shall mug. and i somehow like this new blogskin. its simple and nice and cool and soothing to the eye. omg. i cant believe i gt 24 for gp essay, in which i didnt have enough time to do & i dont have any idea what i'm doing. but i only know my lang improved. woohoo! and i saw rifdi & cheryl aslp, so i fell into la la land too! LC is being nice today and let us slp. today is somehow a nice day! :) except for the aches that is!

full day was hmms. bitter sweet sour. bitter sour was thanks to my parents. whom totally ruined my mood. ==. i'm not a 3 year old kid and its not as if i'm gg out and doing bad deeds. rawr. but somehow its still sweet, with class breakfast (almost all were thr), catching a movie (angels & demons - you all should catch it if you can. its good! :D) with bird, jing and jingyang while the rest of the girls went shopping and the guys went to watch night at the museum 2 and lunching with bird. night at the museum totally reminded me of the time when i went to watch with wee and hamster. when everything wasnt that compliacted and sour. i guess time will just made those unhappy feelings go away, but a scar will definitely be left. anws. i'm glad that the sports arena for vjc did really well! kudos to them! yst's guys soccer match was really awesome. one of the most exciting match i ever watched, okay i admit i didnt watch much matches anw. hahas. but it was the one that i went " REFREE KAYU LAH!" and gt all so agitated. anws. just as what mr seet said " THANK YOU MJ!" hahas! its so proud to have both the soccer guys and girls winning the champion! woohoo! and the softball girls too! :D! we love you guys for winning us those full day(s). okay, more like full DAY. that super kiamsiap principal! sians! hmms. and not forgetting the performing arts ppl too! *beams*. i want a full week! :(

back from band concert! hahas! it is quite gd considering they only prepared for it a week ago. :) but kudos to lemuel, seriously. his movement is awesome! but sad. i missed the first 2 pieces coz i was late! (i left my hse at 6pm okay. its the bus uncle's fault!) :( but anw, gd job. oh! and i did gt like 2 goose bumps! its gd! :D! especially the alumni band, they did an awesome job! :D

its a S day, as usual, according to ken, it is a SIAN day. i have alot of work to catch up! just finished maths tuition! oh man! tired! and i'm seriously pissed that the things i planned properly didnt go according to plan! ARGHS! it furthers accuate the fact that WE CANT HAVE EVERYTHING IN LIFE! :(

i miss the hectic-ness of cca somehow. an irony isnt it? i miss the times whining of how tired we are, and so happy that we can go home. and walking along the dark corridoors and walking out of school together. i miss fooling arnd with my section and laughtet and teasing fang & gang and chitchatting with ken. i miss gg home at night, now gg back under the hot sun seems so unappealing. i am still having this inertia when i bet most of them had moved on. :( my body is so tired after all these had ended like a week ago, but still, it is repelling the work that i should do. anw somehow i enjoy geog more. but i miss my geogers too. :( at least i have more time on my hand i guess. hmms. i am just like randomly blogging as many things are swirled in my head. i guess i shall have a gd night slp with my aching arms and body! be the trashers tmr soccer girls! :)

VJ String From the Silver Screen has finally come to an end on a high note.

the day has somewhat finally ended.& i'm like having a really mixed feeling.

i'm happy that i had successfully finished my responsibility to strings and i dont' have to suffer from all those hellish pracs anymore. but i'm reluctant to leave my awesome cellists, jnrs & snrs, and especially my xiaodi and laughtet! :( ! and somehow this concert really allows me to make really great friends like Fang, Valerie, Gwen and Weili, thanks to Chris! i really have alot of people to thank this time, and i think this might be a long post. i just have too many things to say.

the thanking list:

1) all vjse members for making my last official concert with vjse a success. we had been through think and thin. the good times and the bad ones. made good friends and not so good one. learning everybody's different characters, having an in sight of everyone's true side. its quite alot for a short 1.5yrs. but i still treasure you guys ALOT. thanks for being there!

2) my lovely cello section. without you guys, i wont be able to survive those tortourous pracs. without you guys, the ensemble will be useless. without you guys, it will be total hell! hahas! you guys had made my time in vjse a total awesome one. and i will definitely miss every single one of you! as i've said, you guys are the best. the revolutionarists, the most hardworking and the most hip section ever! an ensemble/orchestra will be dull without the brightest cellists around! thanks for walking through thick and thin with me, from syfs to the concert! <3!

3) my dear xiaodi (leslie), who is always thr for me. listening to all my whines and at the end of all my mood swings and bad mood. but yet, without complain, keep helping me with many stuff that i dont want to do or just do not like to do. he is really one of my impt pillar in strings and i am happy that i have seen him grown up within this 1.5 yrs. :). hahas! and i'm really touched with the unique present! i love you dearly! =D & i'm definitely super proud of you for getting that post as i know you are the one who can make those changes! :)

4) my laughtet (delia, jed, jiali). the one that makes string pracs even more awesome. the one who makes pracs more enjoyable. the one that we can pour out our sorrows to, our happiness to, our grieviences to. the one that we can go bitching and laughing for non-stop hours. the one that bonds are unbreakable. it is really my fortune to meet you guys! thanks for everything that you guys had done to liften the mood and of course, they are my impt pillar too! awws. i feel sad that we cant have those frequent bitching sessions anymore! :( and when after a's, and when everyone is in like their uni(s), i hope we will always still be thr for each other and continue playing awesome music together. somehow, i hope we all dont go overseas to study! :(

hahas! my mom was like. eh why you look so glum. my reply was simply, i was too emotionally inside the piece! :P

hmms. although it is a short 1.5 years, i sort of have a strong attachment to strings now. from my 3k cello to the strings room and to the people. hahas! but, that is life i guess. move on, babe! but somehow, though i feel that i didnt play as well as last yr, consider that i had to prepare such a difficult repertoire in like 2 weeks? hmms. its sort of an accomplishment for me. and considering i only went through the phantom (the whole piece) 2x before the actual thing, hahas. oh craps! but oh wells. i think i managed to cover up quite smoothly for majority of it. :P. and what really made my day, for the last time in vjse, was all the positive comments i received from all my friends who attended. okay. all this arent totally exact words, but still the crux, like from chris "you guys were great! and some parts of phantom and mantras were so nice it made my hair stand" and bird "the cello looks good on you. (and somwhat her friend said i look flowy?)" and clement "its a very good performance" and brig "great job done. you played really well! impressive you know." and yani "that was a great performance. my friend and i enjoyed the show" and many many more. it is these type of small little sms(es) that really enhance and made this concert end with a bang that at least all our efforts didnt go to waste. and i did some blog hopping today, and all enjoyed themselves thoroughly. like bird "Tonight was one of the more enjoyable concerts I've been to if not the most :)(I duno why I'm blogging about this.)" and sam " VJC String Ensemble Concert was GREAT..!!" and clement "It has been super long since I got goosebumps from such concerts and I got it 4 times. Haha! *applaud!!!!*!" and brig " Yesterday my sister and I attended Victoria Strings' concert. It was very enjoyable! The phantom of the opera and pomp and circumstance really impressed me! Now i'm quite tempted to DSA to VJ strings." and so on! hahas! oh yeah brig! i want you as my jnr! :)

hahas! i knew it that chris was trying to avoid me, coz i'm sorta forcing him to take a photo with us, with his new hairstyle! trust me, it was difficult to spot him. and i only did it after sabre dance, the encore piece. that is after i spotted kamfung aka kampong! hahas! i was practically laughing at his new hairstyle! opps! and finally we succeeded! leslie, you can go photoshop! :P

but the real highlight of the day is * scratch butt jed *! =P HAHAS! totally HILARIOUS. now i know what i had missed from strings camp! :( and my litte cousins were so amused with it that they imitated him today! omg! HAHAS! anws. the snr vid was awesome! hahas. with a majority of laughtet photos! the camwhore-ish us! :P! and speaking of which, i think i probably leaked out abit too much of secrets about jed to kirsten. opps! i'm sorry jed, i didnt know that she doesnt know anything. the consequence of you not accompanying your little sis! hahas! but i heard some juicy insights too! hehes! =P! she is actually quite fun to talk to yea! hahas! lucky to have such a sibling. so jed, dont bully her that much ah!:)! oh yeah. and i gt things to clarify, i have seriously no/ZERO crush on chris okay, to weili who always like to say it and to gwen, fang and valerie who always like to chip in! and jed, seriously no. i know what you are thinking, coz you will definitely chip in. and thus no to you too! hahas!

heys! its been a long time since i blog! and all my sufferings will end tmr, on a high note! =D! i'm like super uber tired! had prac from 8am-6.30pm today! TT! i played mantras, serenade, sabre dance and blah blah blah with my eyes closed! omg! that is how tired i am! and i officially sold like 54 tix? HAHAS! cools right?? =D! hais. but i'm really sad that i have to leave my dear section and its like i will miss them sooo much! =) oh yeah! and tmr, its like my batch the ncso cello and bass section will all be present! its a realy achievement yea! =)! i cant wait to meet up with u guys, and of course, brig, char, chris, teckyi, kamfung, clement....... and so the list goes on. i just have an aim, to take as much photos with as many ppl as possible, and of course with all my friends who came! =D. hahas! oh man! i better catch my sleep! its like straight from 8 am to after my concert! hope everything goes smoothly. ahs! my hands are aching from all the letters i wrote! okay than. i shall gt my slp! tata! =)

oh man! it like a totally slack 4 days for me! =). & trust me, i'm soooo totally guilty conscience now. since i was like telling ken that i'm gg to slack till sat ONLY. oh man! and i continued slacking today! TT! than fri continue slacking AGAIN. OMG machiam mati already lah! thurs was totally slack, spend watching Kimi wo Petto! OMG! that guy who acted as Domyouji was the lead. and trust me, he is SUPER CUTE that i cant help watching the whole series! ==! sat prac was. hmms. okay? sectionals was like, OH YA - REMIND ME NOT TO SIT AT THE SIDE! thanks to theo! BLEAH! i SHALL NOT complain that he didnt ask me play! because HE KP ASKING ME TO PLAY ON SAT! and as you know me, i always sight read all my pieces for every prac! bleahs! and its like during full, we spent 3 hours doing 2.5 pgs of beethoven symphony! speaking of perfectionist! anw, it was quite an eventful sat prac, if i was to say! firstly, mr yang blamed himself for the syf results, and he totally insists that we should get the gold. awww.. and he continued commenting abt rjse, saying they deserve that gwh with all those awesome techniques and movements BUT vjse totally own them in musicality! HAHAS! and the most AWESOME thing was, HE SAID IT IN FRONT OF THOSE RJ GUEST MUSICIANS! it is like totally a kick in the butt for them man! hahas! =P! imagine gg to help perform in some ppl's concert and kena sorta "backstabbed"! SAD is all i can say! and i have like total front row seat watching that GOLDFISH play his violin! omg! the front desk ppl were like trying not to laugh! he is totally the "legend" man! even the guest performers know abt it! HAHAS! anw... after prac, oh man! we could actually have our tuition! but THANKS TO THOSE INEFFICIENT SC, we COULDNT! craps man! i'm really worried about all those missed tuition!!! TT! anws, i sort of had a blessing in disguise, coz i ended up lunching with Ken & Goddy at ps! we went to eat ajisen ramen. Godwin totally had this negative aura when he came. scary is what i call! than h suddenly change mood and came up with lame stuff! i can say his temperement is totally like a girl can! hahas! than we were crapping all the way! than went arnd walk walk, go walk in arcade to be more exact. wanted to catch a movie but it was too rush and nth to watch anw. thus ended up at tcc to crap more! and ken is totally FUNNY! he was like asking me whr did i sit for syf like 4 yrs back when i was like sitting NEXT TO HIM! omg! total dementia. i was like gg WTH! i was sitting beside you, uncle!!! and the funny thing was, beethoven symphony was stuck in my head the whole afternoon! == and speaking of which, this is like a total IRONY! i mean, MY CONCERT PRAC IS MORE HIONG THAN SYF PRAC! like wth!?!? it is like sat 8am - 4pm!!! we went and couquer the stage, but sadly, not the judges heart. its' undeniable that i'm really devastatingly sad. and how i teared throughout the whole bus journey from rp back to vj...
but as what dear sexy hand, junhao, said, "tears we shed are for our efforts, not the results."
and that is apparently really true. flashbacks of all our hard work, sweat and pain just went through my mind throughout the bus ride. but all didnt pay off. and that's life. we cant have everything in life. after 4 months of intensive late night pracs, numerous breakdowns and die-ed, we completed the final lap of our journey, our goal. although we didnt achieve what we set out to achieve, i'm still contented by the whole journey, where we improve, mature and grew up together as one entity. and not forgetting, forging precious, close friendships that one desires to have. although i regretted not mixing enough with the other j1s' due to certain limitations this year, but i'm still glad that i have them as my juniors, who will carry and pass down string's legacy and spirit. it doesnt matter what others' judged us. the most important is having the faith in ourself as music is not for being judged. music is a medium to express and share our sentiments with our listeners. and this small fall will not make us crippled, but instead give us the energy to strive even harder, and pursue music, our life.

i would not have pulled through this whole journey myself. hence, i'm really glad that my section has always been with me. i'm sorry that i may not be inspirational enough, always nagging at you guys, and sometimes setting a bad example for you all. but, i really want to thank CELLO SECTION, for overcoming all the negative remarks and smirks from others, never failing to try even harder and putting in so much effort to improve. we might not be the best section, but i bet everyone wont deny that we improved the most. and that is what i really care. i'm actually really proud of you guys for having such a beautiful and steady tempo for the beginning of mantras and of course, great job for the mini solo for 2nd and 3rd cellos for serenade! you did a great job guys! and not forgetting. we must really thank jolyn for being there for the section, trying to be patient to impart the skills though it is a really tough job for her. and of course, my XIAODI who really lift the spirit of the section, and especially my mood. he is always thr to ans my whines and really silly requests without a complain, tolerating all my craziness and randomness. i wont have survived without you. and defintely the whole section who stand by each other all the time. as i have mentioned before, from my experience from the various orchestras, CELLO SECTION ALWAYS OWN THE REST OF THE ORCHESTRA. and that is all i really care. =)

i want to specially thank Mr Yang for his guidiance and tolerating our really lousy skills, trying to explain time and again, over again, getting our intonation right. not forgetting the really bimbo Mdm Goh who really empathise with my situation, and being thr when i broke down, encourgaing us all the way. and of course the new addition of teacher, Mr Wong, whom i always whine to when i see him around in school. and Ms Ng though she isnt in charge of us anymore, but still very concern about us and came down to support us today. and thank you to all the teachers who treated us to Fish & Co today! it must really have cost a bomb, seeing the way we order our food/drink/dessert.... i wont be surprised if it were to add up to $1k!

last but not least, i want to thank my girl's clique who is always thr to support me morally. and of course, i must really thank kenneth, marilyn and godwin for staying to watch our performance, giving us those morale support. and our seniors who came down to watch and support us and of course theo and minyao, farah and afzal who came down during our pracs to help and those seniors who wished us over the phone. and definitely all the others who wished us luck. and those who cheered us up. =).a really BIG THANK YOU to all of you!

just to let me complain alittle, i just randomly thought of something. " Can someone pass me a screwdriver to unscrew those screwed angmoh judges? " i bet everybody will agree with me. =)
i mean its like thr are only 1 gwh and 1 gold in the jc category with like a handful of bronze. AND for the sec school category, thr are like 1 gwh and 4 golds, with a handful of bronze and 2 c.o.p.
common sensically, this isnt realistic at all. but anway, i will like to thank Marilyn's words that really cheered me up alot. "I'd like to think that your school's SE is pretty good, especially your cello section. No matter whatever the outcome was of today, good job! =) "! and of course, as Mr Yang qouted from his SSO friends who were there throughout the day, VJSE is one of the most professional ensemble just from hearing the beginning of our piece. just hearing these encouragement words, in my heart, i believe that VJSE is still a GWH ORCHESTRA no matter what the results of the final judgement is. and i'm proud of NCSO too! =)

After attending a rehearsal of this work we make the following observations and recommendations:
1. We note that the twelve first violins were playing identical notes, as were the second violins. Three violins in each section, suitably amplified, would seem to us to be adequate.
2. Much unnecessary labour is involved in the number of demisemiquavers in this work; we suggest that many of these could be rounded up to the nearest semiquaver thus saving practice time for the individual player and rehearsal time for the entire ensemble. The simplification would also permit more use of trainee and less-skilled players with only marginal loss of precision.
3. We could find no productivity value in string passages being repeated by the horns; all tutti repeats could also be eliminated without any reduction of efficiency.
4. In so labour-intensive an undertaking as a symphony, we regard the long oboe tacet passages to be extremely wasteful. What notes this instrument is called upon to play could, subject to a satisfactory demarcation conference with the Musician's, be shared out equitably amongst the other instruments.
Conclusion: if the above recommendations are implemented the piece under condsideration could be played through in less than half an hour with concomitant savings in overtime, lighting and heating, wear and tear on the instruments and hall rental fees. Also, had the composer been aware of modern cost-effective procedures he might well have finished this work.

this really struck me quite some time ago, which have been quite apparent in some of the musicians' attitudes that really saddens me. it is undeniable that everyone aims to achieve the best and look down on the weak. an ensemble will NEVER be an ensemble just with just those elitist in there. it is the effort of everyone to overcome all obstacles together, helping each other up and cheering each other on that really pulls us altogether, to be, an emsemble. i'm gratified for those who did that to cello section, encouraging us all the way even if our standard isnt up to par and on the other hand, dissapointed in those who thinks that oh-i'm-so-great-and-you-are-not-and-stop-wasting-my-time people. there is not a need to deny, as all have eyes to see who you really are. which spells superficiality.

hence, i'm totally proud of my dear cello section, even with all these adversities, able to improve so much within such a short time. your efforts really paid off and i'm more than satisfied and happy. you guys had improved by leaps and bounds and i'm sure we will be the most awesome section - as ever . thank you so much for all the hard efforts you guys put in!

i really do hope that jed's wake up call was enough to wake them all up today. he is totally right.
it is dissapointing that the ensemble is slacking at this last lap. with only 4 people punctual for prac. yet again, i'm proud that the other 2 are from cello section, other than me and jed in this case! wonderful! this only shows one's passion, drive and commitment. and he is totally right to say that it clearly reflects the ATTITUDE, the j2s, sadly and the j1s'. come to think of the future generation, *shake head*. furthermore, it is worst that this is coming from people like the PRESIDENT, EXCO, SECTION LEADER(S) and the EXCO NOMINEES, making irrational and irresponsible choices. as i said so, he doesnt deserve that president post. though i may seem harsh, its a FACT, no matter how many f-ing years of leadership experience you have, you are such a loser leader. but still, i'm touched by the extra efforts put in by people who care enough, considerate enough, rational enough and RESPONSIBLE enough. great job guys, as our hard work will be paid off really soon. :)

i think i just smoke through another hectic week.
today is the only day i can reach home seeing the sun bright in the sky.
unlike the past 4 days, only manage to see the dark sky. =(
my body is getting increasingly overworked.
yearning for more sleep, more rest.
though i highly doubt so...
with our standard like this. i guess i will reach home even later!
and its like only TWELVE freaking days left! =( !
such an awesome cca like dance only managed to clinch a gold.
looking at ours. *shake head sadly*!
i hope there really is a miracle in this last lap.
i hope that all my late nights are not put to waste at all.
i hope that we will pull through and see that shining gold at the end.
i hopt that i can experience yet again the experience i had 2 years back.
bitter and sweet. nervous and relief. tears of joy. happiness. satisfaction.
this will probably be my last syf. and i do hope it will only bring back gd memories.

which was nearly killed by this freak conductor and orchestra.
but still, i will hold on to it till the end.

looking back,i just had a whole hell of a week.
which i miraculously survived. :)
it really was a roller coaster ride for me, emotionally, somehow.
and for the people around me too. *SORRY*
but after this ordeal, i can open my eyes.
and take a good look to those who really care.
though not as if i didnt know in the first place. hahas!
yea. i've just set to say.
life isnt fair. when isit fair in the first place?
but God is fair to bless me with such wonderful friends.
given to me to pull through such unfair, sucky situations, yea? :P
next week will be a rough ride too.
friday was totally an exhaustion day.
that i ended up slping through both lectures, the first time this year.
not only physically exhausted, but mentally too.
with me breaking down at night. craps.
but for me, i guess that crying is just a release of emotion.
but definitely not a mark of defeat and giving up.
so dont worry guys! :). BUT thanks for your encouragements too!

friends are people who are thr to give u hand when u are in need.
this really struck me, make me realise who are the ones who really care.
like seriously. i mean no matter how much u crap and have fun together.
eventually, they may not even be true friends.
they are only called good weather friends.
so i'm quite touched today, from the bottom of my heart.
that i am really glad to know leslie, my dear xiaodi.
he is the one who always help me keep my cello...
pack my stuff, run my errands, blah blah blah.
without any complains or whatsoever.
especially today, when my back hurts, and he helped me take my stuff to the car.
i'm seriously uber touched by how far one can go.
hahas. he even joked that he is my personal assisstant. =P.
i'm seriously glad that i am fortunate to know him. =)
oh yea. and of course out to the other people...
like jiali, delia, jed, qiaoni, and others...
who always help me take my stuff coz i have difficulty rolling my cello. =)

i'm officially BACK from GEOG TRIP!
WOOTS! GEOGERS ROCKS!!! =)

day1
we had vog in the morning...
the opening was so darn cool with the fire flying fox.
the rest of the day was bleah. SLACK.
i played a round of friendly bball though. it was fun!
than went to strings room to slack and kbox with jiali! =P
hahas. its darn funny. we girls end up to be the latest to meet for geog trip.
apparently we were waiting for zac who was already thr! =X!
got into our grps! omg! my grp is SUPER JAPALANG!
only know lionel. at least. hahas!
even mr najib say he dont know how we ended up like that.
he even say it was a SURVIVAL GRP.
but ended up my grp were all nice ppl. a mix of slackish and clever ppl! =)
hahas. u should know who the SLACKISH person is!
whose book was NOT FILLED. =P
my grp, grp 8 consists of....
lionel, jian an, jeralyn, lemuel and me! (=
yea. than we did all the check in and stuff.
into customs.. change bus.. blah blah.
the travelling was omg! slp throughout. hahas!
stopover at yong peng. met KISHEN. like so OMG!
so long never see him. never change abit though!
and i think i met some of the my ex econs tuition ppl. hahas!
one whole bunch of SA ppl just swamped into yongpeng with us.
we did our snack buying and food grabbing before setting off again.

omg! the sky was filled with thousands of birds! CREEPY!
anw on the way we were watching sepat and hairspray! HAHAS!
as i was lking out the windon i saw the train tracks.
and it totally reminded me of last yr when i tk the train in.
talking abt different perspectives. hahas!
anw, dinner was arnd 9pm apparently.
at this park su seafood restraunt in KUANTAN!
woots! hahas! finally.. FOOD!
we ended up sitting in classes. and we sat with the teachers minus mr najib.
wonderful insight scoops! hahas!
but we were all apparently dead.
a short distance to our wonderful swiss garden hotel!
it was darn impressive! =D
we ended up watching the messengers although we were all tired. HAHAS!
it was creepy. i know i am chicken. hehes!
after that. we were all dead. ^^

day2
woke up super early. but the morning was darn nice.
we were at the balcony. and the swallows just flew past my ears.
me & cheryl took a morning walk to the beach. darn cools!
we went back to meet therese. hahas! than BREAKFAST.
quite impressive too lah. after that was the challenge!
we went to climb the granite quarry. woo man.
it was darn HOT. trust me. i became chao ta lah!
super regret never put sunblock first! hahas!
and i lost my cam. which luckily someone picked it up...
we were sweating like mad can! phew...
next up. the beach. oh crap. i lost my cam case thr! =(
than we left for lunch. sat with my grp and cheryl grp.
and josef tan joined our table. hahas!
its fun but dangerous to have him around.
omg! our table had this cockroach running around!
and lemuel the brave one caught it. hahas!
we were like screaming away can! hahas!
oh yea. back to mr josef... he likes to play zhong ji mi ma.
which we did. hahas! and LIONEL KENA 2X! LOL!
but he play cheat.. anws... darn sad!
i lost my mood ring thr! TT!
after that we went to climb limestone cave. *not limecave stone* =P
hahas! it was really STEEP AND HIGH! OMG!
didnt really learn much thr. coz i was scared i will just slip!
me and lionel just practically stand whr we are, on safe grounds.
rather than gg with the grp to climp. hahas!
but it was rather amazing. first time seeing real stalagtites/mites/ pillar!
the way down was creepy. but it was ok. thanks to CHERYL! =D
when i reached ground floor. my leg was practically jelly can!
we went to another beach! omg! wonderful can!
it was super windy and can see the stacks and stumps!
our grp had to do the vid presentation thr.
and we risked our lives doing it can!!!
we were like walking against SUPER STRONG WIND.
and we also kena SAND BLASTED. PAIN! hahas!
and my hair was flying like siao za bor! OMG!
i hope NOONE sees the vid! and obviously lionel was thr for nth.
hahas! he only kena blown away in the last part whr like he doesnt even lk like he did.
hahas! that is why from than on. after all those zhong ji mi ma and stuff...
josef loves to pick on him! rofl! =P
we went for dinner after that. supposingly should have macs.
but we girls didnt want to so we went to a seafood restraunt place.
and mr najib was so nice to join us!
cheryl was super trumatised by the kittens. which occur within less than 10secs.
we were totally shocked and tried to calm her down! chill girl! =)
and bad lionel kp making fun of her. hahas!
it was a really tiring day when we gt back.
hahas. but we still ended up watching princess diaries and bitching. 0.o
ms suriani was saying ms audrey was like saying what..
" why the grandmother wants to prosecute her grand daughter" while she was zzz.
and when she was watching the show. LOL! funny!

day3
we head down to kl. hahas!
long bus ride was occupied by "entrapment"!
we went to the petronas twin tower! wow!
and before that we went to the 2ringgit toilet! hahas!
lazy to queeue up and of course we enjoy a much cleaner toilet.
even with a whole range of body shop products for us to use can! =)
the view up thr was simply awesome. hahas! ok lah.
i just didnt know thr was so much to the twin tower. hahas!
and the 41 sec lift to gt to the 41st floor? cools right!
after that we went for lunch + shopping. lunch at a&w. woots!
shopping was like simply useless can...
shops thr are like PRADA, GUCCI and JIMMY CHOO! buy what?!?!
we did our grp discussion at the garden.
and my my! we did have ALOT of interruptions.
for the grp7&8 discussion. we did zhong ji mi ma again.
the forefeit. to climb up the grass. hahas!
and again LIONEL was targeted by josef. hahas! suay!
and he was FORTUNATE to escape it.. so jian an had to do it! hahas!
and it took 20 SECONDS to hear the whistle from the security to ask him to get off!
LOL! we videoed the whole thing! wonderful! =P
in the big grp. the security kp coming to stop najib talking.
hahas! mr najib was like. isit my face? how come always target me! HAHAS!
than i went to grab my starbucks! awesome man!
we headed down to KL performing arts centre for our magic show.
it was quite wondful though. simply coz my seat was like so "GOOD".
that i kena on stage! hahas!
lucky my trick wasnt that bad!
the tricks for ms audrey and lynette one was uber funny!
luky mine was much simpler. just drawing.
and u could guess wad i drew... a CELLO!
hahas! and tha guy drew a guitar with 2 holes. totally OUT!
thr was some gross part. and the last part whr the guy's shirt kena taken off.
was totally OMG!!!!
anw. we managed to take photos with them. they were awesome! ^^V
we headed for dinner opp nikko hotel! oh crap!
why didnt we just stay at nikko hotel! dynasty hotel was CRAPS!
it is dirty both physically and SPIRITUALLY can!
with all the small cockroaches running around.. and the BIG LIZARD TOO!
arghs! anw. 5 of us ended up slping together.
simply coz me and cheryl were scaredy cats. hahas!
oh yea. back to the dinner! we had our whole table filled with food.
and only 5 of us, the girls eating!
we ordered: 25 sticks of chicken satay, 10 sticks of mutton satay, 2 plates of maggi goreng, tandoori chicken, butter nan, 3 plates of veg and drinks!
omg! it was totally ALOT can! and it only costs 75 ringgit in total!
totally CHEAP! hahas! =P

day 4
all didnt had a gd night sleep. thanks to that creepy hotel!!
we took a walk in the inner city. oh my.
its quite sad how everything is.
but one thing wonderful is. they are a close knitted community.
and they take pride in that. wonderful! =D
finally we gotta check out that darn hotel! hahas!
we went down to kl pac again!
and ian brought us around!
we recieved compliments from him that he hadnt been asked so much intellectually challenging questions since a long time! WOOTS!
hahas! and that place was awesome! we did alot of photo taking thr too! =D
we headed to lunch after that - GERMAN FOOD!
we gobbled up the bread. simply we are too hungry. hahas!
the food was delicious! especially the soup and the mashed potato!
we even ordered non-alcoholic beer. which was simply YUCKS! hahas!
my banana vanilla milkshake tasted so much better!
after that we went to the sentral station to take a train to KLIA!
the train ride was real good. glad i didnt fell aslp.
simply because: when we reach KLIA, we took a bus to putrajaya straight! =.=
we were like CHEY! hahas!
we went allamanda to "shop". but all high end. SO. we didnt! =(
after dinner, we headed to the cbd of putrajaya.
it was amazing! all the buildings was so WOW!
and we took a SUPER LONG WALK to the BOSS'S office. hahas!
the BOSS joke was darn FUNNY!
and we played a silly game. and our grp lost. and we were SUPPOSED to do forefeit.
which we apparently didnt! =P
everyone was flat that day. hahas!
but the hotel was soo much beter! phew!

day5
we had morning debrief instead.
had an insight to all the photos and videos.
and our hotel was apparently opp MARRIOT hotel! omg!
anws. we did our reflection and so. it was quite meaningful after all.
and my josef still targeted lionel! LOL!
apparently i have the same thoughts as jing jing...
its like we will hardly go holiday and see things the way we will in this trip.
i am simply glad that i came to this trip. no regrets! =)
after checking out. we went to the bridge at putrajaya to take some photos...
than we headed to this public housing place. which has a totally rusted car..
for the FINAL debrief....
it was darn funny with mr najib holding the map...
and mr josef pointing and touching the "wrong" part! HAHAS! ask me personally.
hehes. coz idk how to explain it here! =P
we received alot of compliments from the teachers...
saying we are the best grp so far! WOOTS! ^^V YEAH!
after that it was a long slp to the middle of our way back to spore!

had sectionals... and lunch:pizza!
lunch time talk was funny. with jiali and lionel. hahas!
had full. and my cramps came. it was CRAP!
guys just simply dont understand how cramps really feel like.
just like the stupid CHINA SHEEP. and that VIETNAMESE GUY!
RAWR. talking about it just makes my blood boils.
not like my xiao di.. still so nice to run to the canteen to gt me hot water.

i completed the CTs' the EARLIEST in the cohort!
within... just 60 HOURS!!! OMG!!! O.O!
but. it was total CRAP!
gp was ok? ECONS AND PHYS WAS *KILLER*.
geog was easy, just that I DIDNT STUDY FOR IT.
maths was relatively easier than econs and phy.
BUT still gt some dont know how to do and never complete!

at first it was supposed to be at marina sq kbox.
than they decided to go some cheapo place at katong shopping centre! hahas!

BUT it was FUN!
TIME JUST PASSED TOO QUICKLY! =(

and oh yea. it was one of the most successful class outing.

yst was total FUN, FUN & FUN! =D
yeah. no need to wake up so early for ong's sake!
in the morning, we had class picnic with our CT(S) @ ecp.
it was supposingly sea regatta. BUT.
i guess the school wants to give us a break or something.
we, j2's get to picnic at ecp too! =D
breakfast was funny.
and LC made the salad ended up being used to suck up to the vp.
and the vp ended up flying melly's kite. LOL!
we were drawing in the sand. playing cards.
and dunking people. hahas. more like hc and melly were the only ones dunked. =P
and shawn was so, DRY. WTH!
i wanted to dunked him. but ended up. some other ppl did it for me! =D
jiejing was being buried in sand. and some SUGGESTIVE photos were taken! LOL!
than we took hell lots of jump shots.
and what weihao took totally failed. hahas! nice try!
and did i say that the sun was hell!
after that we went for class movie. ok. poor turn out. as usual.
but better than nth. right? hahas!
its like only me, mark, jing jing, hong chew, benjamin, jing yang & tze kit went.
amelia followed us to ps though. and bird too!
but bird left early to teach tuition. hahas. clever girl!
we slacked at carl's jr crapping for like nearly 3 hours!

but in the middle i was cold like shit man!
coz wearing shorts + slippers! and even my jacket that mr gan reminded me to bring didnt even worked.
after that mr gan still lend me his jacket but my feet were still cold that i have to bury it under my bag!
after the show, i found out it was raining darn heavily. which explains the coldness!

the shooting action scene. i totally closed my eyes. it was simply too dazzling man.

and when bradd pitt reached middle age. he was totally HOT! =P

after the movie it was already 6pm man.
so we left for mass dance @ suntec city fountain of wealth.

only left me, mark, bird & jing. tk joined his other friends.
we popped by to subway for dinner! yummy!
than we went to find little ong. hahas! thr was alot of ppl.
but i can say that the turn out wasnt good. hahas!
